Batter World, a startup founded by two moms, sought to revolutionize breakfast with their innovative frozen pancake batter in a squeeze pouch. The product aimed to provide busy families with a convenient, mess-free way to enjoy homemade pancakes using all-natural ingredients. With three varieties - Original, Multigrain, and Gluten-Free - Batter World needed a brand identity and packaging design that would stand out in the frozen food aisle, communicate the product's unique benefits, and appeal to health-conscious parents seeking quick, wholesome breakfast solutions.
We developed a cheerful brand identity and package design that captured the essence of Batter World's mission to bring joy and ease to breakfast time. The design featured a clean, white background adorned with a bright color palette, soft, rounded typography mimicking the flow of batter, and playful illustrations including a smiling sun, chriping bird, and a mouth-watering photograph of a stack of pancakes. To address potential concerns about the frozen format, we created custom illustrations on the back of the package demonstrating the simple four-step process: defrost, shake, pour, and enjoy. Beyond packaging, we extended the brand across their website, trade show booth, and marketing materials. The success of our design contributed to Batter World's growth, ultimately leading to its acquisition by Revolution Foods.
